Karen L. Allison

Karen L. Allison is an attorney in the firm’s professional malpractice department. Karen returns to private practice after eight years as Assistant General Counsel at a Fortune 500 manufacturing company where she was responsible for all US-based litigation.   Karen’s private practice and in-house experience includes defense of professional malpractice, business torts, product liability, premise liability, personal injury, toxic torts and contract disputes.   She has experience litigating matters to trial in Federal and State courts, as well as, resolving matters through alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.   Karen practiced in Colorado before relocating to Connecticut. 

Karen graduated, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.  She received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with high honors.  

Karen lives in Stamford, Connecticut with her husband and twin daughters.  She is an active volunteer in the community serving in various board positions in school and community organizations.
