Toni-Ann Gayle is an associate at Ryan Ryan Deluca LLP and is admitted to practice law in Connecticut. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense.

Toni holds a Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Insurance Law and Regulation from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, she founded Tutor The Future, a program which connected UConn Law students with local Hartford area middle school students for tutoring and mentorship in exchange for pro bono credit. Toni also spearheaded UConn Law’s annual Congo Week initiative, where interdisciplinary professionals presented on the impact of cobalt mining in The Congo. She competed in UConn Law’s  National Dispute Resolution Society Negotiations Competition and emerged as a quarterfinalist.

In addition, Toni held several leadership positions in law school including Chief Administrative Officer and First-Year Representative for the Student Bar Association, Community Services Chair for the Black Law Students Association, and Judge in the National Dispute Resolution Society Negotiations Competition. She was also an International Refugee Assistance Project Law Student Fellow, an ABA Judicial Clerkship Fellow, a Deans Scholar, and a New York Pro Bono Scholar. Prior to joining the firm, Toni gained valuable experience as a summer associate in the Business Insurance Legal Department at Travelers, where she conducted legal research, prepared multistate statutory and regulatory surveys, and analyzed developing case law. As a New York Pro Bono Scholar, Toni also spent her final semester of law school as a Certified Legal Intern in the Hartford office of the Division of Public Defender Services where she conducted arraignments and represented indigent clients in court on a daily basis.

Before attending law school, she supervised a legal intake team at a mass tort conversion firm where she worked extensively with personal injury claimants.

Toni graduated cum laude from Andrews University with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Communication Studies, with a pre-law concentration. She also studied abroad at Campus Adventiste du Salève in France where she became fluent in French.

Outside of her legal practice, Toni-Ann enjoys reading and writing. She is a published author and is currently on a quest to read at least one book from every country in the world.
