Ryan Ing is an associate practicing in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense litigation. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Legal Studies from Roger Williams University in 2015, and his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2019.
While in law school, Ryan was Vice President of Moot Court, Vice President of the Multi-Cultural Law Student Association, Honor Board member, and competed in the 2018 August A. Rendigs Jr. National Products Liability Moot Court Competition. In addition, Ryan participated in RWU’s Criminal Defense Clinic, where he spent a semester as a Rhode Island Rule 9 Student Attorney representing low-income defendants in criminal and civil matters through all stages of litigation. In his final semester, he was selected by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island to participate in an In-House Counsel Corporate Externship program where he drafted human resource and healthcare policies, attended litigation proceedings, and lobbyist sessions at the Capitol. Ryan also spent a summer as a legal intern at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts where he gained invaluable experience and assisted in prosecution proceedings.
Before starting in private practice, Ryan served as a clerk for the judges of the New Haven Superior Court, where he worked primarily on the civil docket.
