RRD Partner Mike Ryan recently succeeded in defending his client, a local school board, against an employment discrimination claim filed with the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities (“CHRO”). After a three day fact finding hearing, in which eight witnesses gave testimony for nearly seven hours, the CHRO investigator issued a Finding of No Reasonable Cause. After reviewing all of the evidence, the investigator concluded that “there is no reasonable cause for believing that a discriminatory practice has been or is being committed by the respondent.”
