We are pleased to welcome Michael C. Barbarula and John Kanca to our team of talented associates.
Michael C. Barbarula received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2009 from the University of Connecticut. He graduated from the Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University in 2012, where he was inducted into the Order of Barristers for his achievements in trial advocacy. While in law school, Mike was Senior Editor of the Penn State Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation, and two of his case reviews were selected for publication in their third volume. In addition, he completed internships during law school with the Norwalk Public Defender’s Office, the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, and the Clearfield County (PA) District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the firm, Mike worked as a Temporary Assistant Clerk in the Civil Division of Bridgeport Superior Court.
John Kanca received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College in 2006. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2009.
Prior to joining the firm, John was an associate at an insurance defense litigation firm in Hartford, Connecticut, where he practiced primarily in the areas of personal injury, automobile liability, and premises liability. He also served as a Temporary Assistant Clerk in the civil and family division at the New Britain Superior Court in New Britain, Connecticut.
