Ryan Roberts is an associate attorney practicing in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance defense litigation. Ryan is experienced in litigating contractual disputes across various types of property & casualty policies. Ryan regularly advises on complex insurance claims with exposures that span across numerous policy years and involve multiple layers of coverage. Ryan also routinely represents insurance companies against extra-contractual claims of bad faith as well as unfair trade and insurance practices.
Before joining the firm, Ryan worked at a prominent insurance company, handling liability and coverage litigation relating to asbestos, toxic torts, sexual assault, CTEs, and other latent risks. He is experienced in managing coverage and liability issues spanning across various types of personal and commercial policies, including auto, property, general liability, professional services, and workers compensation policies.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Haven and his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. At Quinnipiac University School of Law, Ryan served as a Student Bar Association Senator and was the recipient of the Outstanding Legal Scholarship award. In his final year of law school, Ryan joined the firm as a law clerk. Ryan lives in Monroe, Connecticut, and is an active volunteer with ARC.
