RRD Volunteer Corps Returns to Person-To-Person (P2P) In Darien, CT

October 22, 2014

The RRD Volunteer Corps recently returned to Person-to-Person (P2P) in Darien for another successful volunteer event. RRD attorneys helped the P2P staff sort through a seemingly endless mountain of clothing donations the organization had received.  We were very happy to be able to create a welcoming experience for P2P’s clients showing up to pick out clothing for their household.  Each client only gets a half hour to shop for their entire household, so the volunteer efforts helped to facilitate this experience for the clients. This experience was the latest example of RRD’s continuing commitment to P2P and to serving those in need in Fairfield County.  The RRD Volunteer Corps already is gearing up for its next event on November 22, when we will be serving brunch to clients of Inspirica, Inc., a Stamford-based organization. Typically brunch is for 25 women at Inspirica’s Women’s Housing Program, an emergency shelter for single women who stay with them up to 60 days. Stay tuned for news from that event.
