RRD Named Connecticut’s 2013 Insurance Litigation Law Firm of the Year

On May 13, 2013, the Connecticut Law Tribune announced that it has named Ryan Ryan Deluca LLP as the Insurance Litigation Legal Department of the Year in recognition of its outstanding record of success on behalf of its clients. The award was based in part on the fact that of the 14 cases that the firm tried to verdict in 2012, 11 of them resulted in defense verdicts and another one resulted in a verdict that was lower than the settlement offer extended before trial, a winning percentage of 86%. Overall, the firm has obtained 98 defense verdicts in the 152 cases that it has tried to conclusion since 2002, and 80% of all cases tried have returned verdicts lower than the last offer before trial.

This award comes on the heels of the firm also being named as the “Best Mid-Sized Litigation Firm in Connecticut” by Super Lawyers® Business Edition for the second year in a row.
