RRD Forms Volunteer Corps to lend a Helping Hand

February 7, 2013

When Hurricane Sandy struck our region, Associate Beck Fineman wanted to help our neighbors in Stamford who had been affected by the storm.  So, RRD attorneys and staff teamed up with the American Red Cross to assist at a local storm relief shelter.  Since then, RRD has continued to pitch in to help our local communities.  We helped to clean up Stamford’s Cove Island Park, an area Hurricane Sandy hit particularly hard, and we assisted local non-profit DOMUS with its annual “Holiday Mall” event, providing holiday gifts to local families in need.  These efforts are only a beginning.  Beck is now forming the “RRD Volunteer Corps,” which will partner with local community organizations on various, ongoing volunteer projects, and which also will be on-call to lend a local hand with special projects as needs arise.
